When purchasing a puppy, the Seller assures that it is in good health and has a stable temperament. The Seller will provide a health record detailing all vaccinations, deworming procedures, and veterinary examinations.
As part of the agreement, the Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 business hours after receiving or picking up the puppy.
Failure to do so or neglecting to administer required immunizations and medical treatment will nullify this health guarantee. Certain conditions such as dehydration, diarrhea, hypoglycemia, coccidia infection (a parasitic disease), kennel cough (infectious respiratory disease), internal and external parasites, giardia infection (intestinal illness caused by parasites), fungal infections are not covered under this guarantee.
Additionally any condition that can be corrected through veterinary treatment or other preventable conditions are also excluded from coverage.
The Seller provides a two-year health guarantee for life-threatening issues which remains valid until the puppy’s first birthday. If an illness occurs during this period, it must be documented in writing by a licensed vet within 72 business hours.
The seller should then be notified about whether at purchase time, the animal was unfit due to severe sickness, disease or congenital defect with proper documentation provided. A return option may apply if found unfit but failure to act on it within 72 hours would cancel replacement possibilities.
Additionally, puppies affected with non-life threatening conditions like luxating patella(hind leg joint dislocation) hernias, collapsed trachea etc., are not eligible for coverage.
In cases involving life-threatening situations, a returned pup along with relevant vet documents would result into provision of another pup only if hereditary problem is discovered rather than being caused accidentally/through illnesses.
Furthermore, fatal viruses including Distemper Parvo, and Corona are guaranteed against for seventy-two hour post-purchase. While Coccidia and Kennel Cough aren’t included since they’re self-limiting diseases requiring antibiotic treatments without posing fatal risks.
